At least 8 Women Killed in Saudi Attack on Yemen’s Taiz

At least eight women have been killed in the latest air raid by Saudi Arabia in Yemen’s Taiz province on Saturday.
The Saudi jets targeted a civilian home in a district in the province’s northern regions on Saturday.
The Saudi war jets bombed the civilian house and a water well in al-Sateen street, al-Hashama area in Taiz province, a local source said on Sunday, according to the SABA news agency.
The Saudi aggression also targeted the government complex in Dhubab district in the province, the source said, stressing that the complex was completely destroyed.
Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia announced a temporary five-day "humanitarian" ceasefire in its deadly military aggression against Yemen which is to take effect on Sunday evening.
A Saudi-led coalition backed by the United States has been carrying out airstrikes against Yemen since March. The airstrikes have not been authorized by the UN.
Based on UN figures, over 3,261 people have been killed, 1,670 of whom were civilians in the Saudi onslaught.
