The US-backed Saudi-led coalition targeted an open-air market in Yemen’s northwestern Hajjah Governorate, killing and injuring scores of local civilians, Yemeni medical sources said.
According to the eyewitnesses, six Yemenis were killed and many others were injured in a Saudi-led air raid targeting a popular market in Hajjah’s Hayan district, some of those injured are in critical condition.
Last Wednesday, the Saudi enemy’s airplanes also bombed Hayan district which led to the death and injury of six Yemeni civilians. The Saudi regime keeps killing Yemenis and seeks to cover its heinous crimes amid the international community’s indifference vis-à-vis the humanitarian carnage committed by Riyadh.
Meanwhile, Human Rights Watch (HRW) declared on Saturday that according to international law, the members of the Saudi-led campaign must give details about their participation in the barbarous offensive against the Yemeni nation. However, the mainly Arab members of the Saudi-led coalition refuse to release this vital information.
