A plane belonging to the United Nations arrived Wednesday in Sana’a International Airport with 38 tons of aid.
According to a navigational source, the plane belonging to the United Nations arrived in the airport on Wednesday “loaded aid including medicines, tents, and electric generators.”
The source added that “another international aid plane is scheduled to arrive in Sana’a airport in the coming hours”, without specifying more details regarding its cargo or the party it belongs to.
International and local organizations have been working to help Yemenis living in dire humanitarian conditions due to the two-and-a-half-year-old war and the cholera epidemic, which has killed 2,000 people and more than half a million people contracting the disease.
The United Nations says that nearly 15 million people do not have access to adequate health care because of the closure of health centers as a result of the Saudi-led aggression.
