Yemeni Tribes Announce Mobilization to Enforce Front Lines

The Yemeni tribesmen of Salif district, in Hodeidah province, announced, on Sunday, mobilization to support front lines against the Saudi-led aggression against Yemeni people.

The tribesmen confirmed in a protest rally their steadfastness in confronting the Saudi-led aggression and defend the homeland.

In their statement, the tribesmen vowed that the only option to face the Saudi-led aggression is confrontation until victory is achieved.

They also pledged to send fighters, foods and money to back the resistance on the frontlines.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
