The Yemeni army and the popular committees continued, on Sunday, the operations against the Saudi military sites in each of Asir and Jizan regions, south of Saudi Arabia.
Military sources said that the Yemeni forces fired a ballistic missile on groups of the Saudi army and its allied mercenaries near Aleb port. The missile hit the target accurately inflicting loss upon the Saudi army and allied mercenaries.
The artillery unit of the Yemeni forces targeted also sites and groups of the Saudi army in the Saudi Malahah military site.
The sniper unit of the Yemeni forces managed to shoot dead a Saudi soldier in the same site.
In Jizan also, the Yemeni forces attacked the Saudi soldiers in Altabbah Alhamra'a and Alsha'af military sites.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
