At least four people were killed and 11 others wounded in Saudi air raids that targeted residential areas in Yemen’s Hajjah and Saada provinces Friday.

One civilian was killed and seven others were injured when a US-Saudi airstrikes hit homes in the Hayran area.

The attack took place following another Saudi raid in the Al Burka area in Saada province which claimed the lives of at least 3 people and wounded four others.

The Saudi jets fired internationally banned cluster bombs, destroying farms and houses.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
