Yemeni army forces unveiled four domestically manufactured drones named Qasef-1 (Striker-1), Hudhud-1 (Hoopoe-1), Raqib (Rival), Rased (Surveyor).

These unmanned aircraft are designed for combat and reconnaissance missions.
Organizers in the production unit of the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the Defence Ministry stressed that this batch of UAVs which has been successfully tested is one of first national, sophisticated military productions.
The organizers added that the series of drones will be followed by a production of more batches of special UAVs which are and still under development and study, adding that the drones will be equipped with modern, advanced, and pioneer Yemeni technologies.
