The President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Saleh al-Sammad met on Monday with Jawf governor Sam al-Malahi.
The meeting discussed the achievements to combat the Saudi-led aggression, the siege and the hostilities acts committed by the coalition and its mercenaries.
The meeting hailed the Yemeni army and popular forces in pushing back the invaders and Saudi-paid mercenaries in different fronts.
Both officials also reviewed the humanitarian activity and the necessity to meet the basic needs, particularly for the internally displaced people in the province.
Sammad also met with with Lahj governor Ahmed Garib.
They reviewed the economic and humanitarian situation in the province and developments in the national arena. They also discussed the negative effects carried out by the al-Qaeda and Daesh groups and the aggression' plans as well as the ways to combat those effects in the province.
The regime in Riyadh has been incessantly pounding Yemen since March 2015 in a bid to reinstall the country’s ex-government and crush the Houthi Ansarullah movement.
The military aggression has claimed the lives of over 11,400 Yemenis, including women and children, according to the latest tally by a Yemeni monitoring group.
