The Saudi fighter jets launched two airstrikes on Serwah district of Mareb province overnight, an official told the state-run news agency Saba on Monday.
The airstrike targeted Wadi Habab and al-Makhadarah area in the same district.
Meanwhile, Saudi-paid mercenaries ' artillery shelled several areas in Herib al-Qaramish and Serwah districts, causing heavy damage to citizens' houses and farms.
Through the March 2015-present military campaign, Saudi Arabia has been unsuccessfully seeking to return power to Yemen’s former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The Yemeni army and allied fighters have been defending the nation against the invasion, which has claimed over 11,400 lives, according to the latest tallies.
