Yemen’s army units and popular forces destroyed a military vehicle of the Saudi-paid mercenaries in Mareb province, a military official said Monday.
The vehicle was located in Wadi Namla in Hreib al-Qaramish district of Mareb province. The crew members aboard were killed or wounded.
Through the March 2015-present military campaign, Saudi Arabia has been unsuccessfully seeking to return power to Yemen’s former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
The Yemeni army and allied fighters have been defending the nation against the invasion, which has claimed over 11,400 lives, according to the latest tallies.
Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
