The Saudi aggression fighter jets waged two strikes on Harib al-Qaramish and Serwah districts of Mareb province, an official told the state-run news agency Saba on Thursday.

The war planes launched 5 raids on Saraim valley in Harib al-Qaramish.

Meanwhile, Saudi-paid mercenaries' artillery shelled al-Hazam, al-Alabal, al-Hajairah, Bani Rabai and Bani Ahmed villages in the same district, wounding one civilian and damaging homes and farms, the official added.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
