Yemen’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Hussein Muqboli met on Wednesday with the director of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Yemen, George Khoury.

The meeting shed light on the bombing of roads, bridges, ports and airports by the Saudi-led aggression.

The deputy prime minister informed the UN official about the critical situation the Yemeni people are living in.

For his part, the Director-General of the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that the United Nations is closely monitoring all acts that are harmful to civilian and is actively working to accelerate the peace process and alleviate the suffering of citizens so as to facilitate the entry of food and medicines.

Khoury stressed that the United Nations agencies in Yemen are working to provide the suffering of the Yemeni people in order to accelerate the intensification of humanitarian and relief assistance.
