Yemeni security services and popular forces on Wednesday foiled a suicide attack that intended to target civilians in al-Radmah district of Ibb province, a security official told Saba.
The security forces received a notification that someone was wearing an explosive belt intending to carry out a suicide attack in the district, the official made it clear.
The suicide bomber blew himself up after he was discovered, while he passed by a security check point.
The official called on citizens to cooperate with the security services and popular forces in reporting any suspects or suspicious terrorist movements for maintaining the security and stability of the country.
