The rocketry force of Yemen’s national army and popular forces fired a ballistic missile on a Saudi position in al-Khadhra border crossing in Najran region, a security official told the state-run news agency Saba on Thursday.

The rocketry force fired a barrage of Katyusha missiles on Matrah Al kashem location.
The army also shelled a military vehicle of the Saudi troops east of Al Buka camp, burning it to the ground.

Meanwhile, the army's artillery shelled two headquarters of Alieeb and Hammad military bases in the same region.

Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.

About 11,403 people have been killed and over 19,343 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.

Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
