The local council of Sana'a province strongly condemned the killing of 12 citizens in Bani Yousif area of al-Haimah al-Dakhiliyah by the Saudi-led coalition warplanes.

The massacre was carried out early Saturday by Saudi aggression warplanes.

In a statement to the state-run Saba news agency, the council considered the massacre as war crime against the Yemeni people, demanding the United Nations and the international community to take responsibility and pressure the coalition to end its unjust aggression on Yemen and its people.

Saudi Arabia has come under international opprobrium for the sheer size of the casualties from the war it is leading since March 2015 to crush the Houthi Ansarullah movement and bring back the former Yemeni government to power.

The offensive has so far killed 11,403 amid countless reports suggesting deliberate and indiscriminate targeting of civilian infrastructure by Saudi jets and mercenaries.
