The Yemeni army’s artillery and popular forces resumed Thursday shelling Saudi military bases in border provinces of Najran and Asir, a military official told the state-run news agency Saba on Friday.
In Najran, the national forces hit al-Dhabah military base.
In Asir, the army shelled the Saudi soldiers in the border area beyond Alib military headquarters.
The operations killed dozens of Saudi troops, destroyed tens of their military equipment and forced others to flee.
