Yemen’s Interior minister Mohammed Abdullah al-Qawsi ordered the quick integration of the popular committees into the police apparatus.
The order was issued on Monday during a meeting chaired by the minister with the senior leaders of the interior ministry.
The move aims to enhance security and stability of the nation.
