Two people were killed and several others wounded in Saudi aggression airstrikes overnight on residential quarter in Baqim district of Saada province, an official told Saba on Monday.
The hostile warplanes targeted al-Jathoah area in the district five times.
The Saudi aggression also waged 14 air raids on several areas in the district, causing huge damage to citizens’ properties.
Saudi Arabia began its deadly campaign against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes were meant to undermine the Houthi Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
About 11,400 people have been killed and over 16,000 injured since Riyadh launched the airstrikes. The Saudi aggression has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
