Dozens of Saudi-paid aggression mercenaries were killed and wounded in their failed attempt to advance to Alab crossing in Asir province.
A military official told the state-run news agency Saba on Wednesday that the units of the Yemeni army and people’s committees thwarted the failed attempt in Alab, killing and wounding dozens of militants.
The official said that the specialized units of the Army and People’s Committees also destroyed two Saudi armored vehicles, including BTR carrier during the operation.
Yemeni forces have been engaged in retaliatory attacks against the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
