A Yemeni citizen was martyred and another wounded when US-backed Saudi aggression warplanes launched a fresh wave of airstrikes Wednesday morning targeting Bakim district in the northern province of Saada a security official told Saba.
The warplanes have launched more than 29 air strikes since dawn on Wednesday targeting the districts of Munabih, Thuban, Bakim, Kutaf and Sudhan. The raids damaged houses, properties and farms.
The airstrikes were accompanied by heavy missile shelling from enemy Saudi army against the same areas.
Late on Tuesday, five citizens were killed and six others wounded when the US-backed Saudi aggression warplanes targeted a farm in Baqim district of sadaa province overnight.
Saudi Arabia has come under international opprobrium for the sheer size of the casualties from the war it is leading since March 2015 to crush the Houthi Ansarullah movement and bring back the former Yemeni government to power.
The offensive has so far killed 11,400 amid countless reports suggesting deliberate and indiscriminate targeting of civilian infrastructure by Saudi jets and mercenaries.
