A Saudi jet struck a boat off the Yemeni coast killing six of the 12 Pakistani sailors.
The attack has come as former president Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi announced that Saudi-backed forces loyal to him will be attacking Houthi Ansarullah revolutionaries on Yemen’s Red Sea coast.
This is the latest demonstration of the indiscriminate Saudi air raids in the impoverished country.
Saudi Arabia has come under international opprobrium for the sheer size of the casualties from the war it is leading since March 2015 to crush the Ansarullah movement and bring back the former Yemeni government to power.
The offensive has so far killed 11,400 amid countless reports suggesting deliberate and indiscriminate targeting of civilian infrastructure by Saudi jets and mercenaries.
