The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees including the Houthi Ansarllah movement killed four Saudi soldiers in Jizan and Najran provinces on Wednesday.
The sniper units of the allied force shot dead two Saudi soldiers in al-Ramdha site, a third one behind al-Tewal outlet in Jizan and the fourth soldier was killed in al-Makhroq military site in Najran, a military official explained.
The missile force pounded the Saudi border guards center in al-Khuba and al-Muntazah and al-Doud sites in Jizan with barrages of missiles and artillery shells.
Saudi Arabia began its military aggression against Yemen in late March 2015. The strikes are supposedly meant to undermine the Ansarullah movement and restore power to fugitive former Yemeni president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi.
More than 7,500 people have been killed and over 14,000 others injured since the strikes began. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on impoverished Yemen’s facilities and infrastructure.
Yemenis have, meanwhile, been carrying out retaliatory attacks on the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
