The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees as well as the Houthi Ansarullah movement seized control of a Saudi military site near Shabaka area in Najran, a military source said on Monday.
The source added that six Saudi military vehicles were destroyed during the operation.
He pointed out that the army and popular committees forces will continue to progress and clear those sites from the Saudi army.
Riyadh has been waging a brutal military campaign without a UN mandated since late march. The aggression has so far claimed the lives of more than 7,500 people and injured over 14,000 others. The strikes have also taken a heavy toll on the country’s facilities and infrastructure, destroying many hospitals, schools, and factories.
