The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees on Wednesday foiled an infiltration attempt by the Saudi-led coalition’s mercenaries towards position in Hodeida province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, the mercenaries tried to advance towards the eastern areas of Tuhytah district but were foiled by the armed forces.
Meanwhile, the coalition forces fired artillery shells at homes and farms in the same district during their offensive.
