The leader of Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah revolutionaries on Friday offered his condolences to the people of Iraq and Iran on the martyrdom of two of their top military leaders.
"The great martyr and his companions have won. God honored him with this martyrdom to culminate his jihad work," the Houthi leader said in a statement.
The United States carried out a drone strike on Friday killing Major-General Qassim Soleimani, head of Iran’s Quds Force, as well as deputy chief of Iraq’s Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi Al-Muhnadis and their companions.
The Houthi leader reiterated that “the pure blood of the righteous martyrs and their sacrifice for the sake of God and the weak will not go to waste”, asserting his solidarity with the free people in their fight against American and Israeli arrogance and crimes
