Death Toll from Market Attack in Saada Rises to 24

The death toll from the Saudi-led coalition’s attack on al-Raqaw market in Saada province rose to 24 people on Friday, a security official revealed.

Last week, the coalition launched an airstrike on al-Raqaw  market in Monabah district of Saada, killing 24 citizens, including African emigrants, injuring others.

The United Nations strongly condemned the attack against, describing it as the third deadly assault on the same location in just over a month.

Back on November 22, a Saudi-led attack on Ar-Raqou market killed 10 civilians, again including Ethiopian nationals.

At least another 10 civilians were killed and 22 wounded in a second such incident just days later, according to the United Nations.
