The Yemeni army and the popular committees repelled infiltration attempts carried out by mercenaries hired by Saudi-led aggression in Dhalea and Bayda provinces, military sources said on Friday.
According to the sources, the mercenaries tried to advance toward the Azraq front in Dhalea province with intense fire coverage. But the army and the popular committees thwarted their attack, inflicting heavy losses on them.
In Bayda, dozens of mercenaries were killed and injured as they tried to advance towards the army’s position along Qaniah front.
