United Nations special envoy to Yemen, Martin Griffiths, left Sana'a International Airport on Tuesday.
Griffiths arrived in the Yemeni capital on Monday but did not mention the reason and nature of the visit.
The visit, the second in less than a month, allegedly aims to salvage the fragile ceasefire agreement in Yemen’s Hodeida province. The agreement was reached in Stockholm last year.
