Yemen’s Minister of Water and Environment Nabil al-Wazir on Wednesday said the commitment of organizations working in humanitarian fields to the principles of integrity and transparency is essential for building confidence and the actual partnership that benefits the people.
During his meeting with the new Oxfam Country Director Mohsin Siddiqui, al-Wazir expressed his hope that the international work system would realize the needs of Yemen in light of the aggression.
Al-Wazir called for an actual partnership in humanitarian work and moving to a level that ensures that aid reaches the Yemeni people directly.
The meeting dealt with aspects of cooperation between the ministry and the organization during the last period.
