Saudi-led coalition forces on Friday began taking heavy weaponry from the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC). The Saudi-led coalition forces also took over security and military sites in Aden province, sources familiar with matter said.
The sources affirmed that a military committee tasked to carry out the military and security operations included in the Riyadh agreement between exiled Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi’s regime and the STC has arrived at Aden.
The STC has to hand over all military and security sites as well as weapons to the Saudi-led coalition forces within 15 days
