The President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday directed the Deputy Prime Minister for Services and Development Affairs and the Minister of Public Health to directly supervise the fight against dengue fever that has recently spread in Jarrahi district of Hodeida province.
Al-Mashat stressed the need to form medical field teams to get to the infected areas in the province. He also called for the teams to immediately start working to control the disease and treat the infected cases.
The President's directions also included the formation of field inspection teams, the establishment of isolation camps and the provision of medication to end the spread of dengue fever.
