The Spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces said that Saudi-led coalition fighter jets have bombarded different parts of Yemen more than fifty times over the past the past 48 hours.

"Saada in northern and Hajjah in northwest Yemen have been targeted by the Saudi-led coalition warplanes more than any other province in the country," the army’s spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said.

No report has yet to release on the possible casualties of the attacks.

Over 6,000 children have either been killed or sustained serious injuries since 2015, the UN children’s agency said. The humanitarian situation in the country has also been exacerbated by outbreaks of cholera, polio, and measles.

The Saudi military aggression has also plagued the poor Yemeni nation with severe food and drug shortages.
