The Saudi-led fighter jets on Sunday launched two airstrikes on Hodeidah province, a security official told Yemen's state-run Saba News Agency.

The strikes hit al-Arraj area in Salif district.

On September 21, Yemen's Houthi movement announced they were ready to make peace with Riyadh, later repeating their offer despite continued Saudi-led coalition air strikes.

“The truce announced in Yemen is perceived positively by the kingdom, as this is what it has always sought, and hopes it will be implemented effectively,” Saudi vice defence minister Prince Khalid bin Salman wrote on Twitter.
