At least four people, including one child were killed in artillery shelling in Yemen’s Hodeida province on Friday.

The three women and young girl were killed when the Saudi-backed militants launched artillery shells on a house in the province’s al-Hali district.

Four others, including two women and two children were also wounded in the attack.

Yemen has remained wracked by violence since 2014.
The conflict escalated the following year when Saudi Arabia and its Sunni-Arab allies launched a massive air campaign aimed at rolling back Houthi gains and supported the country’s pro-Saudi resigned regime.

More than 70,000 people have been killed in the conflict since 2016, majority by the Saudi-led coalition airstrikes, according to UN estimates.
