“Very soon, the armed forces will unveil the latest military productions, including ballistic and winged missiles as well as drones,” promised the spokesperson of Yemen’s armed forces on Wednesday.
The unveiling of the new weapons “will be an important turning point in the history of the Yemeni military,” Yahya Saree said in a statement.
Saree reassured the Yemeni people that “all the formations within the armed forces are working to develop their defense capabilities”, adding “these weapons have successfully undergone experimental stages and proved their effectiveness in the battlefield.”
The Yemeni army has stepped up its drone attacks against Saudi installations in recent months as part of its retaliation against the Saudi-led coalition’s continued military aggression.
