Yemen's popular Houthi Ansarullah movement said they launched a drone attack on a military airport in Saudi Arabia's border city of Jizan on Sunday.
"The attack targeted a hangar containing Saudi military drones," the revolutionaries said in a statement aired by the group's TV al-Masirah.
There were no immediate comments from the Saudi-led coalition on the attack.
Saudi Arabia has recently intercepted drones mainly targeting its border cities in an escalation with the Houthis.
The kingdom has been leading a military aggression against Yemen for the past four years to forcefully reinstate the resigned regime of former President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
