Leader of the Houthi Ansarullah movement Sayyed Abdel Malek Al-Houthi met Sunday with the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths in the capital Sana’a.
During the meeting both men discussed the latest developments regarding the Sweden agreement as well as the obstacles set by the other party to prevent progress and implementation of the deal.
For his part, Sayyed al-Houthi stressed on the importance of addressing the economic dossier that is being obstructed by the Arab coalition. He added that finding a solution to pay the salaries of state employees should be addressed as soon as possible.
A range of issues related to the worsening humanitarian situation in the country caused by the Saudi-led war were also discussed in the bilateral meeting.
