Snipers unit of the Yemeni army late Monday shot dead eight mercenaries hired by the Saudi-led coalition in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
According to the official, the eight mercenaries were killed in sniping attacks, which took place in front of Alb crossing.
Earlier in the day, the missile forces of the army fired a Zilizal-1 ballistic missile targeting the mercenaries’ positions in the same area. The rocket attack killed and injured dozens of militias.
