The Yemeni army backed by the popular committees and the Houthi Ansarullah revolutionaries launched a retaliatory attack against Saudi-backed militants in Hajjah province.
The rocketry force fired a Zilzal-1 ballistic missile a mercenary gathering in Hairan District. Several artillery shells were also fired.
A number of militants were killed and wounded in the retaliatory attacks.
Earlier in the day, an armored vehicle was destroyed by an explosive device in the same district, killing and wounded 12 militants.
