Houthi Forces Unveil New Domestically-Made Ballistic Missile

Yemen’s Houthi Ansarullah movement unveiled its new domestically-made Badr-F ballistic missile Tuesday via its official media wing.

According to the group, the new Badr-F ballistic missile will have a range of 160km, which is a nearly 30km more than the old version of the Badr-1P missile.

The unveiling of this new ballistic missile comes as the country marks the first anniversary of the martyrdom of Saleh Ali Al-Sammad, the former chairman of the Ansarallah Movement.

While countries like Saudi Arabia allege that Iran is providing these weapons to the Houthi forces, the reality is that most of their missiles were in fact developed at home.

In a statement, Yemeni army spokesperson Yahya Saree confirmed that the blood of martyr al-Sammad will not go in vain.
