The death toll of a Saudi-led bombing on residential buildings in Talan village of Kushar district in Yemen's northwestern province of Hajjah on Sunday afternoon rose to 23 people.

14 children and nine women were martyred in the attack.

The spokesperson for Yemen’s Health Ministry, Youssef Al-Hadri, told Arabic-language al-Masirah television network that there are critical conditions among the people wounded from the Saudi-led massacre.

Al-Hadri appealed to the organizations to act to fulfill their humanitarian duty in preparing, equipping and furnishing rural hospitals to reduce civilian casualties.

The Ministry of Health has announced on Sunday that the Saudi Arabian air aggression committed massacres against three families in the Talan area.

The ministry said in a statement that "the paramedics were unable to reach those who were under the rubble because of the continued hovering of the jets and strikes on Kushar."

The statement also confirmed that one of the ambulances in the area of Sodin in the Kushar Directorate was destroyed by an airstrike.

The leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement recently said Yemeni women and children are being brutally killed by US and Western-made munitions used in the campaign.

For his part, the adviser of the Human Rights Ministry in Yemen stressed that the crime reflects the defeat of the aggression forces and tools.

“The United Nations organizations must carry its responsibility to investigate the facts and document the crimes of the Saudi aggression in Yemen,” he added.
