Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday called on the United Nations to break its silence and carry out its responsibility in ask the other party to respect its obligations and implement the Stockholm Agreement.
According to the news agency Saba, an official source in the ministry said that the other side is impeding the implementation of the Sweden agreement and demanding things outside the agreement under the guidance of Britain. It added that the UK continues to mislead its people and is continuing with its suspicious deals with its allies who are associated with terrorism and involved in war crimes and crimes against humanity in Yemen.
"The British people should know that their government is gaining at the expense of the Yemeni blood as well as by starving and besieging 27 million Yemenis in a manner contrary to the simplest meanings of ethics and common human values," the source added.
The source called on the British government to move away from its policies and the positions of its officials, which are causing daily resentment from the Yemeni people.
It also considered the UK’s policy does not serve international peace and security and the interests of the British people.
