The Yemeni army on Monday launched an offensive against sites of militants loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the central province of Bayda, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
Dozens of militants were killed and injured in the battle which took place in Zaher district.
Earlier in the day, the armed forces launched an attack on the militants’ sites in Qaniah district, killing and wounding dozens of militiamen.
