The Yemeni army on Saturday fired three ballistic missiles, Zilzal-1, towards sites of Saudi-led coalition forces at al-Dood Mountain in Jizan region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The missile attack targeted gatherings of the coalition troops after their attempt to infiltrate towards the mountain and resulted in several deaths and injuries, according to the official.
Meanwhile, the army’s artillery shelled fortifications and positions of Saudi forces eastern Jahfan area of the same region, achieving direct hits.
