The Saudi-led coalition admitted losing seven of its soldiers along the frontlines on Saudi Arabia’s southern border.
The seven soldiers were killed in clashes with the Yemeni army in the provinces of Najran, Asir and Jizana.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur back to power and crushing the country’s Houthi Ansarullah movement.
