The leader of the Houthi Ansaruallah movement, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, on Tuesday reaffirmed the Yemeni people’s right to defend their sovereignty and dignity.

“We are facing unjust aggression targeting our dignity, identity and belongingness,” said Sayyed al-Houthi in a televised speech.

Thousands of people gathered across Yemeni province to celebrate the anniversary of Prophet Mohammed’s birth.

The Houthi leader called on the people to unite and take responsibility for countering the Saudi-led aggression.

“We are going through an important and critical stage in confronting the aggression,” he said.

Al-Houthi also condemned all forms of normalization of ties and alliances with Israel.

The Ansarullah chief reiterated the Yemeni people’s firm position in supporting the Palestinian resistance factions and people.
