Millions of Yemenis on Tuesday will commemorate Prophet Mohammad’s birth anniversary across the war-torn country.

The leader of the Ansarullah movement Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi on Monday called on all the Yemeni people to participate in the celebration, stressing that this year’s event will be greater than ever because of the people’s awareness, determination and faith.

For the first time, the organizing committees set up eight major squares to welcome millions of participants in the  provinces of Hodeida, Saada, Dhamar, Ibb, Taiz and Jawf. The main event will be held in the capital Sana’a.

The celebrations will kick off at the same time on Tuesday afternoon.

Crowds from various districts of Sana’a province and other provinces at Sabaeen Square have been gathering since Monday.

Despite the nearly four years of siege and aggression, Yemenis will celebrate the birth of the Prophet (PBUH) in an unprecedented way.

The Organizing Committee on Monday confirmed the completion of preparations and arrangements.
