Four Yemenis Injured In Hodeidah Shelling

Four Yemeni civilians were injured on Tuesday when Saudi-backed militias unleashed artillery strikes at Hodeidah province.

Earlier, the Saudi-led coalition’s fighter jets waged a series of strikes on civilian homes in the same province, killing four people.

The coalition intensified attacks on Hodeidah in recent days after announcing a renewed effort to capture the province.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the ousted Abdu Rabbu Mansour Hadi regime back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
