The Yemeni army on Friday destroyed a military vehicle of Saudi-backed militiamen in Jawf province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.
The vehicle was destroyed by an explosive device in Moton district, killing and injuring all its crew, added the official.
Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the resigned regime of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
