Over 40 Saudi Soldiers Killed In Kingdom’s Southern Provinces

More than 42 Saudi soldiers have reportedly been killed in recent battles with the Yemeni army.

Saudi media released statistics on Thursday showing that officers were among those killed.

The deaths were recorded in the kingdom’s southern border regions of Najran, Jizan and Asir where intense fighting with Yemeni forces continues to rage.

Saudi Arabia and a number of its regional allies launched a devastating military campaign against Yemen in March 2015, with the aim of bringing the resigned regime of Hadi back to power and crushing the country’s popular Houthi Ansarullah movement.
